By September 30, 2016, CNEC Group has constructed all the 13 nuclear power plants including Zhejiang Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant, Guangdong Dayawan Nuclear Power Plant, Guangdong Ling’ao Nuclear Plant, and Jiangsu Tianwan Nuclear Power Station with a total nuclear island of 35 nuclear power generators. With its first-mover advantage, technology advantage, management advantage and the accumulation of achievements, the CNEC has long been capturing absolute dominating position in the domestic nuclear power construction market.

While consolidating domestic business, the CNEC also actively explores the overseas market. It helped to construct four sets of generators of the Chashma Nuclear Power Complex and two sets of generators of the Karachi Nuclear Power Complex in Pakistan, forming international advanced nuclear construction and management mode and gradually strengthening its overseas influence in the construction of NPP.

The CNEC has accumulated rich experience in nuclear island construction during the process of nuclear power engineering construction. It is the only enterprise that has been engaged in NPP construction for more than 30 continuous years. It is also an international leading NPP construction enterprise. After more than 30 years of practice of NPP, it has formed long-term cooperation with the international famous enterprises such as Areva of France, Westinghouse Electric Company of the US and AECL of Canada. The CNEC masters the overall construction technology for million-kilowatt large-scale commercial NPP. It has the ability of civil engineering and installation of various series of generation nuclear island and conventional island for 300,000 kilowatts, 600,000 kilowatts, 700,000 kilowatts and one million kilowatts. The types of the reactor it constructed include the new generation advanced pressurized water reactor and high temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear station ranging from AP1000, EPR to HPR1000. The CNEC has the ability of multi-project, group-reactor construction and management, and is able to construct 40 sets of nuclear power generators at the same time.
